BAU’s visit to Pavia University falls under the umbrella of the Erasmus+ agreement between the two institutions which started in 2018 and continues to date.
BAU was represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) Professor Rajaa Fakhoury, the Head of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics Professor Marwan El Ghoch, and Dr Dima Kreidieh, Assistant Professor from the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics.
During the visit which took place in Pavia on the 24th of October 2022, the BAU representors met the Italian staff and discussed some salient topics:
(1) Research fellow exchange opportunity within a new research project
(2) The teaching staff and students’ mobility strategy for ERASMUS+ Program 2022-2023
Additionally, Pavia University cordially invited a BAU staff member to be a speaker at the next national Italian ANSISA congress taking place in March 2023.
