The Human Rights Center at Beirut Arab University concluded a three-day training program titled "Children's Rights in Humanitarian Contexts: Between Law and Reality," organized in collaboration with Save the Childrenand supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The program addressed the legal framework of children's rights at both international and national levels, mechanisms for protecting children during conflicts and humanitarian crises, as well as monitoring, documentation, advocacy, core humanitarian standards, and the role of community participation in enhancing child protection and establishing accountability.

This program comes as part of a project aimed at empowering youth to translate knowledge into practical initiatives by designing and implementing community-based projects. These initiatives contribute to raising awareness of children's rights, fostering a culture of advocacy, and encouraging community participation in addressing issues that affect children.
