In accordance with its commitment to continuous professional development, the Quality Assurance Center at BAU organized a workshop entitled 'Team-Based Learning: A Powerful Tool for Engaging Students' on Friday, 16th February 2024 at Beirut Campus. Attended by academic staff from 10 Faculties, the workshop was conducted in a TBL format by Dr. Nisrine Bissar, the director of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Tripoli branch.
The primary objective of the workshop was to equip faculty members with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to effectively implement team-based learning in their classrooms. This included exploring the benefits of team-based learning, understanding its methodologies, and learning how to design and facilitate team-based activities that promote student engagement and collaborative learning.
