The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Research at Beirut Arab University organized the Faculty Awards Ceremony 2026, celebrating the most active researchers during the 2024-2025 academic year and honoring faculty members who received academic promotions.
The ceremony opened with a speech by the Dean of Graduate Studies and Research Professor Hania Nakkach, , during which she highlighted the Deanship's key achievements and its strategic initiatives in building an integrated research ecosystem that supports innovation, sustainability, and research excellence. The event also featured a moving audio message from the University President Professor Wael Abdel Salam, in which he expressed his deep appreciation for the researchers and reaffirmed the vital role of scientific research in the university's journey.
Additionally, the ceremony included remarks by faculty representatives, including Professor Hanadi Taher from the Faculty of Business Administration and Professor Hassan Assoum from the Faculty of Engineering. They shared the milestone successes and challenges that shaped their research journeys and contributed to achieving outstanding academic and research milestones. Secretary General of the University Dr. Omar Houri, also delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of continuing to support scientific research and fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of incentive awards to the most active researchers, alongside honoring faculty members who achieved academic promotions, in an atmosphere that reflected a spirit of achievement, pride, and an ongoing commitment to excellence.
