These efforts were led by the Public Health Emergency Operations Center (PHEOC) team and were intended to simulate complex trauma, mass casualties, and war-related injury scenarios. The goal was clear: "To enhance hospital readiness, improve communication chains, save lives and reduce injuries.".
Minister Nasreddine continued, "The ministry’s strategic direction is clear: We are committed to building national capacities in specialized fields, including specialized surgery, treatment of burns, pediatric emergencies, psychological support for trauma survivors, and other care. We work to achieve it through partnerships with academic institutions, international agencies, and front-line professionals.
