Prof. Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, representing Beirut Arab University signed a memorandum of understanding with the Moslem Pioneer Scouts & Guides in Lebanon, represented by its President, Eng. Fouad Fleifel, that aims for cooperation in serving the community and strengthening mutual relations.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bir wal Ihsan and Chairman of Beirut Arab University Board of Trustees, Dr. Ammar Houry, and members of the Board, BAU Secretary General, Dr. Omar Houri and members of the Moslem Scouts Association in Lebanon attended signing the MOU
Also, The President of the University, Prof. Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Beirut Families Union, represented by its President, Mr. Mohieddine Keshli, for a period of one year, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and coordination frameworks among them to serve the largest possible target groups of families who are members in this union, in the presence of a delegation from the Beirut Families Union.
The two memorandums provided that both the Association and the Union would benefit from the University's healthcare services at its HealthCare Center at reasonable rates, and would benefit from the development of the University' services and employment opportunities in coordination with the Alumni and Career Center at Beirut Arab University. In addition; supporting and promoting community service responsibility (CSR) initiatives, organizing volunteer activities to develop team-building and collective interaction in coordination with the University's Student Activities Department.
Professor Abdel Salam expressed his gratitude for signing these memorandums, stressing that BAU Health Care Centre exists to serve the community and this is a service provided by the university to all people similarly. Dr. Ammar Houry noted the importance of this cooperation, which is a new bright page for our society because it serves Lebanese Community and constitutes an advanced hospitalization value through the Healthcare Center (BAUHC)
After the signing the MOUs, BAU organized a tour to the facilities of the Health Care Center and met the highly qualified and specialized team at the Center and saw the modern equipment.
