In the first problem, we consider the 6 by 6 multi-parameter representation of the braid group having 3 strings, B3 on a closed orientable surface F of genus two and one boundary point. This six dimensional representation is reduced to a representation of degree 5, which turned out to be reducible itself. We then restrict the obtained 5 by 5 representation to the generators of the classical braid group and determine their composition factors. In the second problem, we consider the representation of Artin group of the graph E(3,1). We begin with a multi-parameter representation of degree 4 which is reduced further to a representation of degree 3. We then determine a necessary and sufficient condition that guarantees the irreducibility of the obtained representation. In general, a representation of Artin group of the graph E(n+1, p) induces a representation of Bn+1.
