Beirut Arab University concluded its first BAU Tripoli Summer Camp 2019 entitled “Spark Your Innovation& Creativity”, which aims to discover and develop the talents and abilities of high school students, in different fields, enhancing their creative spirit in the process, in an entertaining and joyful atmosphere.

Students participating in the camp benefited from the use of Arduino to learn the basic programming methods and electronic principles and their application, to design and create a robot, and program it to work automatically, by controlling it with smartphones. They also learned how to design electronic devices and connect them to mobile applications, to turn their homes into smart homes.

The camp included sessions in 3D hand drawing, and 3D modeling using Google SketchUp, enabling students to make creative designs for homes, offices, towers, restaurants...etc.

Participating students had the opportunity as well to enroll in the “Heartsaver” training course that teaches CPR and how to relieve choking, in addition to the first aid basics for the most common emergencies. Upon training completion, they have received a certificate from the BAU Life Support training Center, which is internationally accredited by the American Heart Association.

The camp also offered digital marketing training session, in addition to many cultural, recreational and sports activities.

Students received certificates of attendance in the closing ceremony of the camp, in the presence of the Vice President for Tripoli Branch Affairs, Dr. Khaled Baghdadi, General Director of the National Institute of Management - ENA Mr. Jamal Mounajed, faculty directors in the camp, Public Relations responsible, parents and friends of participating students.
