Within the mission of Beirut Arab University to serve the Lebanese community and on the occasion of the World Diabetes Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences in Tripoli branch, organized a Diabetes Screening and Awareness Campaign in collaboration with Orange Nassau Governmental Hospital and Centre Lebanon Aid. The campaign aimed at screening and educating the public on the risk factors for diabtetes and the lifestyle measures that prevent and control the disease. During the campaign, a total of 110 individuals were tested for fasting blood glucose, HbA1C, and lipid profile. Vital signs were taken and educating brochures and flyers were distributed to all participants.
