Course Description

The course aims at providing students with necessary information related to different factors affecting the performance of various drug dosage forms in vitro and in vivo. The course also delivers specialized knowledge that is essential to understand the concept of bioavailability and bioequivalence. The course allows student to explore the kinetics of the drug in human body, moreover, enables the student to explain the complex issues associated with the processes of drug absorption and disposition in relation to the in vivo performance and determination of drug dose and regimen for therapy individualization. Pre-requisite: PHAR 281
