On the occasion of the World Diabetes Day, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University-Tripoli branch organized a Diabetes screening and awareness campaign in collaboration with the union of municipalities of Dinnieh, DiaLeb and Lebanon Aid Centre NGO. The campaign aimed at screening and educating the public on the risk factors for diabetes and the lifestyle measures that prevent and control the disease. During the campaign, participants were tested for fasting blood glucose, HbA1C, and lipid profile. Vital signs were taken, a medical consultation was provided and educating brochures and flyers were distributed.
