The Faculty of Health Sciences at Beirut Arab University, Tripoli Campus, in collaboration with the Arab Union of Specialized Women and the Municipality of Sir El-Danniyeh, organized an activity entitled "Women's Health Fair" at Al-Siddiq Mosque Hall in Sir, on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

The event aimed to raise awareness of important women's health issues and promote the adoption of healthy lifestyles. The fair included educational sessions on pregnancy and lactation, menopause, and bone health, in addition to awareness campaigns on common cancers affecting women, including breast, cervical, and lung cancers, with a focus on their signs, early detection methods, prevention strategies, and available treatment options.

Participants also benefited from free health screenings, including vital signs assessment, anthropometric measurements, and laboratory tests. The event featured practical demonstrations of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and basic first aid, enabling attendees to acquire valuable lifesaving skills.

Furthermore, medical and nutritional consultations were provided by healthcare professionals, offering personalized health advice and encouraging the adoption of preventive healthcare practices. The fair attracted a large number of participants, highlighting the importance of empowering women with the knowledge and resources necessary to maintain their health and enhance their quality of life.
