Plant Day

Plant Day is an annual event in various countries, originally held on the first Friday in May. BAU-Tripoli campus has celebrated this day through organizing an exhibition that focused on the importance of plants in our daily life, especially the rare species "Urginea maritima" considered as a bioindicator, and the plant "Urtica dioica" that have been used in ethnomedicine. The exhibition was closed by precious recommendations for our students and the invited participants toward the protection of the plant wild life in Lebanon.
