Under the supervision of Dr. Ali El-Zaart, Associate Professor at Beirut Arab University, Beirut, Lebanon and Dr. Carl Adams, Associate Professor at University of Portsmouth, Portsmouth, United Kingdom, two PhD students majoring in Information Technology at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science of the faculty of Science successfully defended their PhD proposals as below:
- Ms. Sukaina Al-Nasrawi: A Multidimensional Methodological Model for Smart Sustainable Cities
- Ms. Maysoun Ibrahim: A Conceptual Framework for the Transformation towards Smart Sustainable Cities.
The presentations took place on Monday the 19th of January 2015, between 1:00 and 3:30 pm, Debbieh Campus, Engineering Building, Room EB139.
