Startup Competition

A group of 5 BAU Computer Science Senior Students have participated in the North Lebanon Startup Competition that has taken place on the BAU Tripoli Campus from November 21-23. It is a "Google for Entrepreneurs" powered competition that takes place simultaneously in over 250 cities worldwide.

This set of determined students led by Mohamad Nabaa, have developed an iOS and Android Mobile Application, which they name the project as "tulos"; have won the  1st Prize in the Startup Competition.

In a brief Description, tulos is the World's First Smart Carpool Mobile Application. The app upgrades the concept of carpooling to make it Map-Integrated, Live Tracking, and a very simple to use to any community.

The Team has won the hearts of the judges as well and some have even described it as a revolution in transportation if the app is deployed in the markets. 

We would like to congratulate our Students and thank them for their hard work, and thank BAU CFE Center for their continous support Currently tulos is participating in the final days of the Global Startup Battle, by which they Are representing Lebanon in the Champions Track in the Middle East and Africa Region.
