BAU Computer science students participated in the Lebanese Collegiate Programming Competition 2020 (LCPC 20) which was held this year online on February 8 & 9, 2021. Organized since 2009, this competition aims to raise students' competence in programming and problem solving, as well as attract companies seeking to employ competitors in the field of Programming. Fifty-two teams from various Lebanese universities competed for two days to solve a set of problems. BAU teams won the sixth and nineteenth places out of 52 official teams from different Lebanese universities. The first 10 winning teams, including one from BAU, were qualified to participate in the Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC), which will take place next month in Luxor, Egypt.
