Huawei invited five BAU computer science students along with Dr. Riham Abdel Kader, from the Faculty of Science to participate in “The Seeds for the Future” international training that took place in November 2018 over a period of two weeks in Huawei Headquarter, Shenzhen - China.

During the Technical part of the training, students explored the field of telecommunication network and were introduced to advanced and cutting-edge computer science topics (Cloud computing, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, and Internet of Things). They also had the chance to see an industrial and practical view of networking.

During the Cultural part of the training that took place in Beijing University for Culture and Languages, students learned the basics of the Chinese Language, and explored the main aspects of the Chinese culture.

At the end of the training, all five BAU students received a diploma during a graduation ceremony, in which one of our students gave a nice speech while the others had a recorded interview.

This trip was not only an eye-opener and a great and unique opportunity for our students but also gave them a good exposure and visibility.
