Biography
I am a full-time Assistant Professor of Physics at Beirut Arab University, Faculty of Science, and Coordinator of the Master's Program in Medical Physics. I hold a PhD in Nuclear and Subatomic Physics from Grenoble University, France. With my academic and research experience, I specialize in nuclear physics, medical physics, radiation applications, and Monte Carlo simulations. My professional background includes postdoctoral research at INSA Lyon and LAPP Annecy, France, as well as extensive teaching, research supervision, and international scientific collaboration.
Research Interests
My research interests include nuclear and medical physics, radiotherapy treatment planning and optimization, radiation dosimetry, radiation protection, nuclear instrumentation, neutron and gamma-ray interactions, and Monte Carlo simulations (MCNP, Geant4, GATE). Additional areas include proton therapy, medical imaging, artificial intelligence in radiotherapy, radiation shielding, and nanomaterials synthesis and characterization.
Education & Qualifications
