The Organic Chemistry Research Laboratory aims to present exciting new opportunities and new challenges for graduate chemistry students at the faculty of science as well as other faculties at BAU or any other university. The laboratory is well equipped with the special implements that provide students and researchers the chance and the services to follow the latest applications and achievements in their respective occupational fields.

Applications
Projects are underway in a tremendous variety of areas, including:
- Synthesis of new organic compounds (medicinal, heterocyclic, carbohydrate, polymeric)
- Synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles
- Isolation and identification of natural products
- Food analysis and food safety under ISO17025 as well as the study of the biological activity of synthesized organic compounds.
