Shareef El-Mustafa is a Senior Lecturer in the Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department at Beirut Arab University, where he has been teaching since 2016. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Lebanese American University (LAU) and a Master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom. With over 8 years of academic experience, he teaches core petroleum engineering courses with a specialization in Reservoir Engineering and Production Engineering. He is dedicated to bridging fundamental engineering principles with applied petroleum industry practices, preparing students for careers in the energy sector.

Academic interests include reservoir engineering, reservoir simulation, production optimization, and energy transition technologies.
