Dr. Leila Itani participated in stakeholder dialogue on the subject of Promoting Effective School Policies for Childhood Obesity Prevention. The policy dialogue was convened on Thursday March 7, 2019 from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm at the Gefinor Rotana Hotel. The Policy Brief meeting was held to discuss the draft policy to address the alarming increase in overweight and obesity among children in Lebanon. This issue is considered a key priority to the Ministries; and this dialogue meeting was planned to support this priority.
