The nursing department at Beirut Arab University has activated an agreement with the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas, where the agreement has established an academic staff and student exchange between the two universities.

Upon the agreement, the department has welcomed Dr. Olga and Dr. Vidmantas where they delivered lectures on food safety and public health, met with the students and initiated a joint research with the nursing department.

As for Students Exchange, Monika Tunkulaite, the Nursing postgraduate student from the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Kaunas,  spent a whole semester at Beirut Arab University and took part in multiple community projects.
