The Faculty of Human Sciences – Department of English Language and Literature at Beirut Arab University organized a distinguished workshop titled "Creative Writing."

The workshop was led by Dr. Sara Hudeib, Assistant Professor of English Literature, who trained students on scenario-writing techniques. The students demonstrated high engagement through the immediate practical application of the skills they acquired. 

The Department announced its plan to select the best scenario produced during the workshop to be developed into a full theatrical performance to be presented during the Spring 2025/2026 semester. 

The participating students expressed great enthusiasm and responsiveness to the workshop's content, highlighting its added value in sharpening their creative thinking skills and opening new horizons for the exchange of visions and ideas. 

نظّمت كلية العلوم الإنسانية – قسم اللغة الإنجليزية وآدابها في جامعة بيروت العربية ورشة عمل مميزة بعنوان "الكتابة الإبداعية" (Creative Writing).

قادت الورشة الأستاذ المساعد في الأدب الإنجليزي، الدكتورة سارة حديب، حيث تولّت تدريب الطلاب على تقنيات كتابة السيناريو. وقد أبدى الطلاب تفاعلاً ملحوظاً من خلال التطبيق العملي الفوري للمهارات التي اكتسبوها خلال الجلسة.

وفي ختام الفعالية، أعلن القسم عن خطته لاختيار أفضل سيناريو تم إنتاجه خلال ورشة العمل، بهدف تطويره وتحويله إلى عمل مسرحي متكامل يُعرض خلال فصل الربيع الأكاديمي 2025/2026.

وقد أعرب الطلاب المشاركون عن حماسهم الكبير وتجاوبهم مع محتوى الورشة، مشيدين بالقيمة المضافة التي قدمتها في صقل مهارات التفكير الإبداعي لديهم وفتح آفاق جديدة لتبادل الرؤى والأفكار.
