في خطوة تعزز ربط التعليم الأكاديمي بسوق العمل، وقّعت جامعة بيروت العربية، ممثلةً برئيسها الأستاذ الدكتور وائل نبيل عبد السلام، اتفاقية تعاون مشترك مع وزارة الإعلام ممثلةً بالوزير الدكتور بول مرقص.

أُقيمت مراسم توقيع الاتفاقية في مبنى الوزارة بحضور عميدة الكلية الأستاذة الدكتورة صديقة لاشين، ومساعدة العميدة الدكتورة هيلكا علاء الدين، وممثلة قسم الإعلام الدكتورة إيمان عليوان، والإدارية السيدة غادة عويدات وذلك بتاريخ 15 تشرين الأول 2025.

تهدف الاتفاقية إلى توطيد أواصر الشراكة وتبادل الخبرات، وتنظيم أنشطة إعلامية مشتركة، فضلاً عن فتح آفاق جديدة لطلاب قسم الإعلام لخوض تدريب عملي ميداني احترافي في مختلف دوائر الوزارة، بما في ذلك الإذاعة اللبنانية، والوكالة الوطنية للإعلام، وتلفزيون لبنان.

In a step that enhances the connection between academic education and the labor market, Beirut Arab University (BAU), represented by its President Prof. Wael Nabil Abdel Salam, signed a joint cooperation agreement with the Ministry of Information, represented by Minister Dr. Paul Morcos.

The signing ceremony took place at the Ministry's building in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Siddeeka Lasheen, Assistant Dean Dr. Helga Alaeddine, Media Department representative Dr. Iman Alaywan, and administrative staff member Ms. Ghada Oweidat, on October 15, 2025.

The agreement aims to strengthen partnership ties and the exchange of expertise, organize joint media activities, and open new horizons for Media Department students to undergo professional practical field training across various departments of the Ministry, including Lebanese Radio, the National News Agency, and Télé Liban.
