Program Description

The vision of this program is contribute to the development and upgrading of health services in Lebanon and the region by providing excellent postgraduate education and scientific research of high caliber.

The mission of the department of Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is to prepare postgraduates with in-depth knowledge and research skills for professional careers in the discipline of Microbiology and Immunology as well as Hematology and Blood banking. The department is committed to prepare postgraduates for leadership and managerial roles in the clinical laboratory and professional organizations with a competitive edge in a rapidly changing and dynamic profession. To achieve its mission, the department relies on highly specialized dedicated staff members.

Graduates of our program will be prepared to work in healthcare organizations ranging from private laboratories, hospitals, clinics, pharmaceutical companies, health assurance units, and infection control teams and Ministry of public health. Our postgraduate students can always have the option of building a career in education and research.
