Dr. Ayman El Khatib holds a PhD in Physical Therapy for Basic Science from Cairo University (2014). Currently a Professor of Physical Therapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Beirut Arab University, where he also serves as Head of the Quality Committee. He has authored more than 25 publications in peer-reviewed Q1 and Q2 journals, with an h-index of 7, and serves as a reviewer for several scientific journals. He is also a Reviewer for the World Physiotherapy Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Recognition Service. Dr. El Khatib has presented his work at many local, regional, and international congresses, including the World Physiotherapy Congress.

Dr. Ayman El Khatib’s main research interests are technology in rehabilitation, medical education, and health promotion and wellness.

Dr. Ayman El Khatib teaches across the physical therapy curriculum, covering foundational sciences such as kinesiology and biomechanics, intervention and clinical practice courses in musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and geriatric physical therapy, and health promotion and wellness. He also teaches professional communication and documentation and the research project course.
