Under the patronage of Prof. Abdalla El-Lakany, Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty QAU, directed by Prof. Maha Aboul Ela, held the Extracurricular activities event on the 9th of April 2014.
This exciting event was attended by the Dean of Research and Development Prof. Mohamad Reslan, and by the Faculty’s professors, staff members, employees, Lab instructors,  and students.
The QAU aims, in such events, to stress on the importance of public engagement to introduce the concept of volunteer work and to motivate students to get more involved in extracurricular activities.
The event included students’ presentations on their personal experiences in the field of volunteer work, live performances of musical talents by the Faculty’s students, videos on the students’ athletic potentials and an exhibition that encompassed photography, drawing and handcrafts.
Additionally, the attendees were asked to vote for the best activity in each field.
At the end of the event, participating students and winners were handed certificates by the dean and the academic staff.
