Dr. Souraya Domiati has attended the ACCP Symposium entitled: “Advancing Clinical Pharmacy Practice: Updates and Strategies from Experts in the Field” offered as a Pre-conference to the GCC Pharmaceutical Congress in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The workshop focuses on Chronic Diseases and Pharmacists services.

The main objectives of the symposium were to:
•    Device strategies to implement the process of care for clinical pharmacists.
•    Discuss landmark advances in cardiovascular medicine with unique impact on pharmacist activities and services.
•    Construct evidence-based plans for the management of patients with common cardiovascular diseases.
•    Outline strategies to advance pharmacist services that improve medication management and patient outcomes
•    Discuss pharmacist role in realizing health system, national, and global health care goals.
