In collaboration with the Research Center for Environment and Development, the faculty of pharmacy received a visit from:

1- Mr. Henry Garcia – Alvarez, International specialist Growing / Processing Medicinal Herbs ( ACDIVOCA)

2- Mr. Hassan Istaytiyyeh, FTF Country Director

3- Mr. Zaher Radwan, Green hand, NGOs  Lebanon Collaborator

4- Dr. Safaa Baydoun, Director of the Research Center for Environmental and Development, BAU 

The meeting was focused on the importance of considering growing the medicinal plants for their health benefits. A special emphasis was also directed towards further cooperation in the field of medicinal plants with the international organizations, non Governmental Organization, Research Centers and concerned academic institutions for the maximum benefits of these plants on scientific bases as sources of drugs either for treatment of diseases as a prophoyletics.
