Participation as Speaker – One Health, One Pharmacy Conference 

On 6 October 2026, Dr. Dima Rahme participated as a speaker in a round table session titled “The Diversity of the Pharmacy Field,” at the conference “One Health, One Pharmacy: Bridging Science, Practice and Education,” held at the Lebanese Hospital Geitaoui, in collaboration with the Order of Pharmacists of Lebanon. The presentation explored the many faces of pharmacy, from clinical and hospital practice to community pharmacy, quality, and academia and research. Representing the Pharmacy Practice Department at Beirut Arab University, Dr. Rahme shared insights from the academic perspective alongside fellow panelists from American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanese American University, Hôtel Dieu de France Hospital. It was a valuable opportunity to highlight the role of education in preparing pharmacists for diverse career paths and to exchange ideas with colleagues on strengthening the profession in Lebanon.
