On Friday, sixth of September 2019, more than two hundred practicing pharmacists gathered at Jamil Rawwas Auditorium of Beirut Arab University, to attend a workshop entitled “Role of pharmacist in Multiple Sclerosis management”. The workshop aimed at advancing commuty pharmacists’ knowledge and skills of Multiple Sclerosis and its management. The workshop was organized by the Pharmacy academy of OPL, in collaboration with the Sanofi-Aventis, and was hosted Beirut Arab University. The event, which was awarded 5 CE from the continuing education committee of the OPL, started after a warm welcome from the dean, prof. Abdalla Ellakany, who acknowledge the importance of this event in terms of the collaboration between the university and the OPL on one hand, and on the other hand, of raising the awareness about the crucial role that pharmacists can play in improving the care of patients suffering from chronic diseases, more specifically multiple sclerosis.
