Dr. Safaa Hammoud, Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, was granted the Best Oral Presentation Award- 3rd place for her talk on ‘Early Renal Manifestations of Metabolic Challenge: Renovascular Dysfunction Preceding Hyperglycemia’ in the International conference of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Sciences 2019- Alexandria, Egypt.
International researchers in the medical and pharmaceutical fields were invited to the conference to meet and share their research that leads to discoveries and career advancements. Dr. Hammoud was selected to present her research work done in collaboration with the Pharmacology department in the American University of Beirut. She discussed the research hypothesis, methods and future work thoughout her presentation and the poster session. During the conference, Dr. Hammoud attended several scientific talks and pharmaceutical education workshop.
In the closing ceremony, Dr. Hammoud received the award and a certificate of appreciation for participating in the PHS2019 conference.
