Prof. Abdalla Ellakany, the dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, was nominated to be a member of the “Arabic Board of Pharmacy” and “General Scientific Council” branched from the “Arab Pharmacists Union” APU.
The Arabic Board of Pharmacy aims to improve patient care through offering specialized knowledge and training programs for Arab pharmacists. Moreover, the Arab Pharmacists Union, represented by the president, nominated the Faculty of Pharmacy as being among the best Faculties of Pharmacy in the Arab world. Accordingly, the Faculty was selected to participate in teaching Part I and Part II of the “Arabic Board of Pharmacy”, which will be supervised by the “Arab Academy of Developing Pharmacists Skills” ADPS. This will be based on signing agreement of collaboration between the University and the Arab Academy of Developing Pharmacists Skills.
