Dr. Souraya Domiati earned her Pharm.D. degree from the Lebanese American University and her Ph.D. in Pharmacology from Beirut Arab University. She has over fifteen years of experience in community pharmacy practice, having served as the manager of PharmaPlus Pharmacy. She is currently an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and Therapeutics and the Pharm.D. Coordinator at Beirut Arab University. Her professional interests focus on epidemiological and pharmacological research. In addition, she is a member of the Technical Subcommittee for Drug Registration at the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health and IRB committee at BAU.

Dr. Domiati has supervised more than 50 theses at the Pharm.D., Master’s, and Ph.D. levels. She has attended and actively participated in numerous national and international conferences and has authored over 30 publications in peer-reviewed journals. Her current research focuses on assessing the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of both community members and pharmacists across a range of healthcare topics. In addition, she conducts experimental studies investigating the effects of newly synthesized compounds and novel formulations in the fields of inflammation, analgesia, diabetes, and antibacterial activity.

Research Interest:

  • Souraya Domiati is interested in Clinical research as well as Preclinical animal studies on anti-inflammatory/analgesic agents.
