As part of its commitment to community service and dental public health education, the Faculty of Dentistry at Beirut Arab University (BAU) organized an interactive oral health awareness day at Makassed Khaled Bin Al Walid (KBWH) Kindergarten. A team of 15 dentists from the Faculty took part, working with the school’s Kindergarten and Cycle 1 learners.

The day was built around hands-on learning suited to young children. Students toured the BAU Mobile Dental Clinic and saw it's equipment up close. The dental team showed them how to maintain good oral hygiene and explained proper diets. Each child also received a complimentary toothpaste kit to take home.

The program also included a specialized session on building lifelong oral health habits, stressing that good dental care starts at an early age.

The Faculty of Dentistry thanks the administration and staff of Makassed KBWH for their warm welcome and cooperation, and for their commitment to their students’ health and wellbeing. The initiative is part of the Faculty’s ongoing outreach programs, which aim to raise awareness of oral health in the community.
