Collaboration with Faculty of Pharmacy at the Lebanese University
07 February 2014 Faculty of Pharmacy received a delegation from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Lebanese University comprised of Prof. Pascal Salameh dean of the Faculty and Dr. Samar Rashidi.Prof. Pascal and Dr Rashidi were welcomed by the dean in the presence of some Faculty members. The dean gave a brief summary about the history of the Faculty and the recent achievements including the Pharm. D program and the professional pharmacy training, the establishment of the Faculty research labs and the Pharmacy practice lab. Then, a meeting was conducted in the Faculty’s QAU room where a comprehensive discussion took place and ideas were exchanged and it was agreed that the Faculty members of both Faculties are to meet, get introduced to each other and share ideas. Later on, a collaboration agreement between the two Faculties is to be formulated and signed. The dean went with the delegation on a tour around the various facilities at the Faculty.
At the end of the meeting, Prof. Pascal expressed her admiration in the Faculty’s achievements, the quality assurance activities and the openness for cooperation. Prof. Pascal and Prof. Abdalla Ellakany agreed to set a date for the meeting between their Faculty members.
