According to the latest 2018 release of the global ranking body, U-Multirank, Beirut Arab University claimed its position as one of the top 25 performing Universities on the indicator “international joint publications.” BAU is one of seven Arab countries in this top-performing list. Based on the U-Multirank website, this indicator refers to the percentage of international joint publications in a University, or the degree to which a University’s research is connected to international research networks. As a top performer, BAU has at least 75% of its publications in collaboration with coauthors based internationally.
