Description of Subtheme:
The impact of homosexuality on human society is a subject of much debate. There is disagreement about whether homosexuality is a natural or acquired condition. Those who consider it a deviation from natural parameters believe it violates values, customs, Sharia, and the law. As a result, it is often considered a crime punishable by Sharia and the law. The severity of the punishment for homosexuality is at the discretion of the judge and can range from discretionary measures to charges of banditry or causing corruption on earth. This also applies to those who promote homosexuality.
This topic addresses the issue of gender, specifically the attacks on human dignity and violations of human sanctity. It underscores the significance of safeguarding an individual's dignity, honor, rationality, and religion. The law criminalizes those who unlawfully assault others. The attack on an individual violates public order and the right to a safe life, endangering the entire human community.
Making homosexuality illegal can be viewed as a means of promoting psychological and social well-being. This is because penalizing such behavior acts as a deterrent and ultimately leads to a safer society for all its members.
