Despite the positive side brought about by the technology revolution to simplify procedures and make them easier and better, this revolution has a negative side, which is the emergence of a new type of crime that is sophisticated in the way and method of committing it, and the characteristics and character of criminals, which are what are known as information technology crimes, which represent a direct and clear threat to security and stability.
Local and global, and constitute an obstacle to economic and security development. In view of this, the legislator was keen to develop legislative confrontation systems for information technology crimes by introducing punitive legislative texts that are compatible with the phenomenon of modern technical crime by issuing - for example - the Electronic Transactions and Data of a Personal Nature Law No. 81 dated 10/10/2018.
The importance of this topic lies in an attempt to shed light on the phenomenon of technical crime as a modern phenomenon that requires in-depth study and research due to the clear and widespread appearance of these crimes in many fields and at all levels. It also works to shed light on the modern legislation that has been enacted in order to keep pace with these new crimes.
