The Deanship of Graduate Studies and Research hosted IRALEB Head of Executive Board, Engineer Ziad Chammas, and Executive Director of IRALEB Mrs. Fabienne Balaa to talk to BAU community about the LIRA Innovation Program 2025. The presenters discussed all details regarding eligibility and the application process, and appraised the University's strategic commitment to fostering innovative solutions that address the needs of Lebanon's labor market.
Students were encouraged to apply to the LIRA Innovation Program 2025 which is funded by the European Union and implemented under the "Lebanon Innovate" umbrella, as this program provides researchers with the opportunity to transform their innovative ideas into successful projects, enhancing the relationship between academia and the industrial sector. Executive Director Fabienne Balaa noted that applied research will target crucial sectors, including agriculture and healthcare, emphasizing the initiative's alignment with sustainable development goals.
